What is Prayogist?

Prayogist is a person who embodies the physical act of prayer and meditation for spiritual enlightenment by dwelling on the cross. It is building the rock’s foundation of our mind, physical, and spiritual health through the word and the teachings of Jesus Christ through the action of “prayoga”.

Prayogist is the combination of the word Pray, oga, and Ist (identifier). As I was searching for answers to my physical health, yoga is always spoken. But it is so complicated. God had lead me to create and combine both spiritual activities.  Although it is not “original” because Christians and non-Christians love yoga. There is an industry of it that was birthed by the Hindu people. As I was searching more about yoga and the history. I have learned there are various styles and teachers. There is a culture of identity of each teacher’s style. There is a cultural of divine love in the art. However, I have learned that many serious yoga instructors do not like the idea it is in the “exercise” category. I think it is cool that there are these complicated positions, but I am too old and not flexible. It  was not a reality.  Then, an instructor stated about a humming or sound when you do it. Who are you humming to if this is a spiritual exercise? Where are my thoughts going during my meditation? Who is responding to my thoughts? What is my instructor’s belief? I was not comfortable to “humming” to an  unknown entity. If you are of this faith, it is your right to feel comfortable with it. So Prayogist was created.

Meanwhile I had learned there are Christian Yoga instructors who instruct in churches and outside of churches. Some yoga instructors do Bible scriptures. But I wanted to recreate the wheel by making the action, prayoga, to identify us as the Prayogist as we get closer to the cross in our spiritual health to bring health to our soul (mind/heart) and body. There are not any confusion where our prayers will go through the Holy Spirit to God in Jesus Name.

Definition of Prayoga is an action of prayer in meditation while stimulating the body into fitness to glorify God.

We always heard, “no idea is a original” and “no word is original”. As always, I had to do more research and learned the word “prayoga” is an actual word from the Sanskrit language which is (according to my research) the root of all language. This word has many definitions so here is a new description/definition. All the words underlined is the English translation to Sanskrit language. There are more.

Prayoga is a practice that allows to deliver recitation of praise and worship in an application to give a dramatic representation of the spiritual connection using various body positions and joining together with the Trinity because we are a design in the affair of one God. We use a formula to be recited to meet the author of our salvation through His sacred text by coming to meal of agreement in a beautiful ceremonial form.

Example:

We are beginning in our spiritual investment.

Our application will be our motive and plan through representation of the Trinity.

Our utterance is an addition in our exhibition of praise, worship, and prayer in our spiritual and physical meditation.

By placing this new style but not new concept, I recognize there is a deep culture who had mothered it to what it is today. But I am just going in another direction that requires a spiritual relationship with God in the simplest way: PRAYER. Which He is fathering to us.
